This is a long-term consulting opportunity and will likely have multiple extensions and converting to full-time for the right candidate, is very possible. Ideal Software Engineer (Sterling OMS) candidate will have: 6 to 8 years of programming experience preferably with Java.(Required)

  • Coding skills (5+ years) (Required)
  • JVM optimization (Required)
  • Ability to write new Java components from scratch (Required)
  • OOPS/Design Patterns (Required)
  • Test Driven Development experience (Desired but not required)

Prior Order Management System experience (minimum 6 years) preferably with a retailor on IBM Sterling product

  • Sterling OMS (Required)
  • Order pipeline (Required)
  • Sterling Component knowledge (Required)

Problem solving and communication skills Architecture , Devops and infrastructure knowledge (5+ years)

  • Git / Gitlab CI (Desired but not required)
  • Jenkins (Required)
  • Big IP (Desired but not required)
  • Weblogic Server configuration/optimization (Required)
  • Linux OS / Scripting (Required)

Strong SQL and Analytical skills

  • Joins, Query optimization techniques (Required)
  • ORACLE RDBMS (Desired not required)
  • Stored Procedure (Desired but not required)

Experience working with Dashboards (2+ years)

  • Datadog (Desired but not required)
  • New Relic(Desired but not required)

Experience working with IBM Sterling PCA (Desired but not required)
