Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Electrical Engineer/EIT , we'll count on you to:
Conduct analyses to develop electrical design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications
Position will also include field investigation and electrical inspection for airfields, tunnels, bridges, and government facilities
Perform routine electrical engineering assignments with instruction from the Project Engineer regarding the expected results
Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
Work on small projects or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Electrical EITs, or Technicians as needed
Perform other duties as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
2+ years experience is required which must include field investigations and electrical inspections of at least one of the following; airfields, tunnels, bridges, and/or federal buildings.
Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are required.

EIT and on track to PE is strongly preferred
Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Willingness to travel is required. Must have an valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record under the HDR Motor Vehicle Policy.

Candidates who reside locally in the metro NY/NJ area are preferred.
