Job Description: JENSEN HUGHES is seeking a talented and experienced Engineer to support Nuclear risk management activities onsite in the South New Jersey area. The position joins the Specialty Services Division of JENSEN HUGHES, and will work with experienced professionals including probabilistic risk assessment engineers on the Power Services team that provide premium nuclear safety and reliability consulting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in Navy nuclear or commercial nuclear power plants. You will provide technicalconsultingon a wide-range ofengineering projects which range from day-to-day nuclear power plant operation in all areas related plant safety. The onsite risk management/probability risk assessmentengineer will function as part of an overall corporate risk management team interfacing with plant staff on all risk management applications.Specific work tasks include supporting Maintenance Rule implementation, advising work planners on scheduling of maintenance activities to minimize risk, and responding to emergent plant risk management activities and risk-related issues. Requirements: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Nuclear, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Safety or related Engineering Degree from a U.S. Accredited program required 3+ years of experience at a commercial or Navy nuclear power plant Strong familiarity with nuclear plant systems and operations Previous Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) experience is a plus Experience with plant risk management activities Strong communication and written skills Applicants shouldbe self-starters interested in applying their experience in nuclear plant systems and operations *Position requires equivalent full-time work on-site and in the Southern New Jersey area.* The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
