Job Description Summary
The Supply Chain and Project Management (SC and PM) Site Head is accountable for consistent and flawless programs execution at site level. On that purpose, he/she is translating customers demand into executable schedules for which material, asset and resources are available, develops and sets practices.
In this role, the SC&PM site head is accountable for:
* Flawless coordination of site portfolio execution including planning alignment (from demand to execution), robust sourcing information and customer interactions,
* All medium and short term planning processes to ensure fully integrated asset capacity planning, labour planning and material planning
* Providing forecasting scenario integrating demand within operation network capacities over a rolling 2 to 5 year time horizon
* SC&PM Team management including optimal resources allocation, hiring, gap analysis and talent development
The SC&PM Site Head till be a Member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), they represent the local SC&PM department and the customer portfolio.
* Ensure streamlined execution of site portfolio integrating customer projects needs within assets and resource management plan.
* Propose options to SLT for portfolio management based on priorities, capabilities and profitability.
* Actively support site head in preparation of budget and reports particularly with forecasting scenario.
* Lead the monthly S&OP meeting, provide a monthly reforecast of all site based deliverables, update the financial outlook for the site as agreed at the meeting and submit to BU Planner.
* Empower the local Supply Chain & Program Management organization to grow and develop its collaborators. Act as a role model within the function and ensure functional success.
* Actively drive harmonization and standardization across multiple sites and technologies with regards of both PM and Supply Chain planning. Drive change in this respect.
* Responsible for ensuring completion of monthly Site level PM Reporting / Project Status Reports and provide ad hoc metrics reporting to Management as needed.
* Ensure optimal Project team organization, empowering team members and definition of clear roles and responsibilities.
* Ensure efficient process is in place to secure availability of materials to execute the project and including providing key information to procurement site head.
* If no dedicated Supply Chain planners, participate as a member of the production planning team and MRP processes to identify material requirements related to production schedules.
* Oversee Inventory Management and Materials Flows.
* Actively drive customer centricity and customer focus. Ensures regular customer focused sessions, such as presentations at local townhalls and customer spotlight with customers on site
* In addition, the incumbent may also manage specific elements or specialized functions for the LPB network e.g. leading a taskforce or troubleshooting teams, operational excellence initiatives or special projects etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree required (Master's or PhD highly preferred), with strong commercial background and experience in the CDMO business model.
* Preferred certification in Project Management.
* Extensive experience in a relevant project/ program management and Supply Chain planning functions or other equivalent business positions.
* Very strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage not only project teams in a matrix environment but also direct people management in a traditional hierarchical organizational structure.
* Ability to manage people and drive execution through efficient communication, creating a trusting environment and taking personal accountability for decision and actions.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively implement the tools and techniques of the project management discipline.
* Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to create a highly collaborative and inclusive environment necessary for a team to be effective.
* Advanced modeling skills for financial, schedule and material planning an advantage.
* MS Project Skills are required.
