Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

? Operates computer numeric control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate required parts

? Sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, or enters commands to retrieve computerized machine control media

? Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on materials as guides for subsequent machining

? Qualified measuring tools on a daily basis

? Troubleshoot machine and maintains machine operations

? Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required

? Observes and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged cutting tools

? Performs a variety of inspection operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications

? Cleans machine, tooling, and parts and performs machine maintenance as required

Monitors and records inventory used (tooling, supplies and raw materials) and notifies appropriate personnel

? Complete training requirements for continual technical growth as required

? Practices good housekeeping and maintains a practical and clean workspace.
