U.S. Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our Systems Vulnerability and Configuration Management (SVCM) team. Reporting to the SVCM Manager, this role will work to mature SVCM's patch management, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management processes.
+ Transform the patch management and vulnerability remediation processes at U.S. Bank by implementing automated solutions for patching, vulnerability remediation, and reporting
+ Design and implement process improvement initiatives such as enhanced reporting, dynamic dashboards, automated notifications, and vulnerability self-service portals
+ Partner with the enterprise build teams to ensure all new servers meet enterprise baseline standards and develop processes for responding to identified baseline deviations
+ Provide security and automation engineering services that align with the Distributed Technology Services, Information Security Services, and business goals
+ Provide automation expertise in shaping security strategy for operating systems, databases, middleware, and virtualization environments
+ Provide architectural leadership in shaping security strategy for operating systems, databases, middleware, and virtualization environments
+ Communicate complicated technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders
+ Subject matter expert (SME) for security tools, applications, and processes
+ Participate as a key member of multiple SVCM scrum teams
+ Train and mentor team members in automation strategies and technologies
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
+ At least 10 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
+ Master's degree in information technology, business, or related field
+ CISSP, CISM, or other related information security certifications
+ Experience with the ITIL framework for IT service management
+ Experience working as part of an Agile Scrum team
+ Experience securing operating systems, middleware, databases, and virtualization platforms
+ Demonstrated experience working with patch management and vulnerability remediation
+ Experience in using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet) with a focus on Ansible against Windows, Linux, and other platforms
+ Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to deploy to and manage infrastructure
+ Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
+ Experience with tools such as SCCM, WSUS, RedHat Satellite, and SUSE Manager
+ Experience on both Windows and Linux platforms desired
+ Experience using source control such as GIT
